Our Team Of Doctors:
Dr Tien completed his medical degree at the University Of New South Wales and has worked as GP on the upper North Shore for well over 15 years. He enjoys all aspects of family medicine with particular interests in travel medicine, children’s health, men’s health, back pain, work related injuries, and preventative health. Outside of work Dr Tien enjoys cycling and out door adventuring.

Dr Marina Allen completed her medical studies in Auckland, New Zealand in 2009. She permanently relocated to Australia with her husband and children in 2013. Dr Allen enjoys various aspects of General Practice but is particularly experienced in the areas of Women’s Health and Paediatrics (Children’s Health). She holds a FPAA National Certificate of Reproductive and Sexual Health and Diploma of Child Health from the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Dr Allen has strong interest in allergies and related disorders including asthma and eczema. Dr Allen is a registered provider of Focused Psychological Strategies.

Dr Byrne enjoys all aspects of general practice with a keen interest in children’s health, men’s health and chronic disease management. Hailing from Ireland, Dr Byrne has been working as a GP in Sydney for over 8 years. He has a Diploma in Child Health (UK), a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK), and is completing a certificate in clinical education at Flinders University. Outside of work, Dr Byrne enjoys playing soccer, tennis and hiking with his family.
Dr Madonna graduated from the University of Newcastle and worked in Queensland for a few years before returning to NSW to train in Liverpool Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. She then completed her GP training in regional NSW and the FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health. She is interested in all areas of medicine, preventative health and family health. Madonna can speak Bahasa Malaysia. Outside of work she tries to keep up with her two young children.
Dr Lai completed her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales in 2011. Following this, she obtained a Master’s degree in Surgical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh and a further postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. Dr Lai is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
To date, Dr Lai’s work history has seen her employed in a number of hospital and GP practices in both regional and metropolitan locations. This broad experience has equipped Dr Lai with a breadth of skills including surgical, paediatric and obstetrics and gynecology which she is able to utilise for the benefit of her patients.
Dr Lai has recently undertaken further training in one of her areas of medical interest which is skin cancer medicine and dermatoscopy. As a result of this, she has been admitted as a member of the Australasian Skin Cancer College.
Interests: Family medicine, chronic disease management, paediatrics, women’s health, shared antenatal care, Implanon removal and insertions, IUD removals and skin cancer medicine.
Languages: English, Malay and Mandarin.
Dr Jessica Lai is an independent contracted GP who operates their own medical business within Wahroonga Family Medical Practice.
DR NICOLE MORRISON – BSc (Med) MBBS FRACGP
Graduating from UNSW in 1995, Dr Morrison attained her general practice qualifications in 1999.
Dr Morrison provides comprehensive general practice care including preventive health, paediatrics, women’s health (including family planning and menopause), chronic and complex disease management, geriatric medicine and palliative care.
Dr Morrison’s books are currently closed to patients she has not seen before.
Dr Nicole Morrison is an independent contracted GP who operates their own medical business within Wahroonga Family Medical Practice.
DR THILINI THIRUCHELVAM – MBBS/B. Med Sc (Melb), FRACGP, DCH
Dr Thilini Thiruchelvam grew up in Melbourne, and graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006. She trained at St Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Health networks in Victoria, and received her specialist qualification in General Practice in 2012. She also obtained a Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital Sydney.
After working in Melbourne for several years, she moved to Newcastle with her family and worked in general practice there for the past 7 years.
She loves general practice for its diversity and the opportunity to get to know her patients and their families over time. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with her 2 young children.
Interests: Women’s Health (including contraception and Implanon insertion and removal), Child and Adolescent Health, Preventative Health and Chronic Disease Management, Travel Medicine.
DR ANN LEE – FRACGP, BMed
Anne graduated from medical school at the University of Newcastle in 2008 and completed her internship at Westmead Hospital. She pursued 3 years of specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology but then changed career paths to General Practice so she could continue to care for her patients through different aspects of their lives.
Anne has a special interest in antenatal care, children’s health, women’s health, perinatal mental health, breastfeeding and contraceptive options. She is accredited for the antenatal shared care program with RPA hospital and The Royal Women’s Hospitals and has been helping women with their pregnancy journey for over 10 years.
